who have had them since they were painted.

The two large seascapes show sailing ships standing off at Margate. prior to transferring their cargo to thames barges.

 

This portrait is,i believe in nottingham, but i have

lost contact with the owner.

Two small marine paintings by Richard Pembery which

were sold on Ebay recently. Present owner unknown.

Rather an unusual one.

This superb landscape resides in Florida,USA at the moment.

The father of Richard Pembery was called John, and so was his eldest son called John.

Francis was one of Richard's four sons.

The only son I have no record of any paintings is Augustus, who is recorded on various

census records as a painter. Some years ago two paintings by G,Pembery were auctioned.

Augustus was called "Gus" by the family.

 

 

 

One painting from the Lambeth Archives, which are unsigned, but which bear similarities to Richard Pembery Paintings, in both style and content.
